R290 is a future-proof natural refrigerant which offers several advantages:

  • Low Global Warming Potential (GWP)
  • Flow temperatures of 75 °C and is therefore suitable for renovations with radiators

R290 is considered highly flammable and according to DIN EN60335-2-40, therefore it must be ensured that no refrigerant agents enters the building via the secondary circuit – special safety measures must be taken.

Besides that, these are a few issues that the R290 encounters today:

  • Double-Walled Heat Exchanger
  • Expensive, Low Efficiency, Heavy, Voluminous
  • Automatic deaerator in heating circuit
  • Existing deaerators do not manage to remove all gas bubbles effectively
  • Risk of mechanical deaerator malfunction due to wear
  • Deaerators cannot remove the gas from the system quick enough if there is a large leak in accordance with DIN EN 60335-2-40 (25 %/min)
  • Avoidance of leaks through e.g. anti-freeze mechanisms
  • Properties of heat transfer fluid or brine must be considered
  • Filling of system is outside manufacturer‘s control

Allengra offers you a solution to be on the safe side by testing the performance of the deaerator not only with air but with propane.

The Kit is composed out of:

  • Flowmeter with bubble detection  (including pressure and temperature metering)
  • Control Valve for flow regulation
  • In-water propane detector
  • GUI for evaluation of results

Functionalities:

  • All kinds of deaerators can be tested in a very simple and efficient way, simulating different working situations
  • By controlling the flow and the bubble content in the media a correct design of the deaerator can be assured

Allengra offers you the kit starting from 900l/h (for smaller installations), scalable to 4000l/h.

On request, Allengra can deliver:

  • Tests results with different deaerators
  • Detailed description of the kit
  • Commercial offer
